Software Therapy

History

Beginnings

In February 1998, Computer Industry Professionals was started by Stephen Strader. This company principally performed training for Inference (bought by eGain in 2000) customers in DLL and DDE interfacing to the Inference toolset.

After expanding the service offerings to include Knowledge Management services, Mortgage industry consulting, and software development, the company was renamed Strader-Douglas Consulting. During this time, the customer list included Thompson Consumer Electronics, as well as Inference spinoffs Brightware, Inc and MindBox, LLC.

Due to the success of operations, in 2000 Strader-Douglas Consulting operated dually with Strader-Douglas Consulting, LLC. This growth included the successful implementation of Knowledge Management at Beckman-Coulter. SDC, LLC was dissolved in 2003 as a result of the overall technology bust and the effects of California corporate tax law. Despite the dissolution of SDC, LLC, Strader-Douglas Consulting continued with successful operations.

Finally, with the expansion of the offerings in project management, Software Therapy was born in January 2006. Find out what is involved in Software Therapy here.
